Video and Film

As far as we, the family, can ascertain there are three film events that featured Jack Broome. In his renowned libel case against David Irving in January 1970, 30 minutes of film was shown to the court. We are actively trying to locate both of these pieces of war footage.

After the war he moved behind the camera and became Naval technical adviser on a number of well known feature films as well as the producer/director for the "Look at Life" cinema documentary series. In his latter years he worked with the BBC on a TV play of his book "Convoy to Scatter", about the ill-fated PQ17 convoy.
